Tourmaline and Trapezoid Diamonds Ring

This custom design was based around the fiancee-to-be's love of green. The client's mother sourced the gemstone, as an avid collector herself. We complemented the emerald-cut tourmaline with trapezoidal diamonds, that help the large centre stone flow into the tapered band. 
 
It was important to create a setting that was durable without feeling bulky or overly-fussy.
 
The bottom of the band features weighted corners, this helps the centre-piece stay centred, as well as a subtle apex underneath the tourmaline to allow the ring to nestle onto the finger bone.
