Emerald-cut Diamond Ring

This stunning 2.5ct emerald-cut natural diamond is claw-set in a 4 prong basket, allowing plenty of light into the sides to optimise the sparkle from the top.
 
The band is set with french-cut set diamonds, a beautifully detailed style where each prong is split in two. On the side, the scooped detail that leads into the french-cut prongs has been duplicated under the centre basket, so that the pattern is continuous between the two sides. The base of the ring has been expanded to add weight, which helps reduce the rotation of the centre diamond when worn.
 
The ring is partnered with the French-cut Diamond Wedding Band.
