Kookaburra Necklace

This cute little kookaburra necklace was created as a gift for friend's birthday. The client wanted to make something similar to a necklace her friend had seen when they had been shopping together. It holds significance becasue her friend is Australian, where the kookaburra is indiginous. After modeling a stylised version of the bird, it was cast in silver and soldered it to the branch, and a chain was added that can be worn at 16", 17" or 18".
