French-cut Diamond Wedding Band

Setting diamonds in a french-cut style is a beautiful way to add additonal interest to a ring. In this design, the diamonds go almost all of the way around the ring, apart from a single metal bead. This is to help future-proof the ring, as it offers a place that can be easily cut into should the ring need sized. The metal bead, which was part of the 18K yellow gold casting, was rhodium-plated, so that if the ring rotates it looks like another diamond.
 
The sides of the settings feature a scooped design, which matches the details of the 2.5ct Emerald-cut Diamond Engagement Ring.
